About

Mary James is a gifted singer, songwriter, worship leader and speaker with a powerful message to share.   Through thought-provoking original songs, worship that will escort you into God’s presence and a personal testimony that will undeniably reveal the power of God’s grace, Mary brings a powerful blend of story and song that impacts the human heart in a profound way.

Deep, authentic and worshipful, her unique mix of country and rock genres with a modern pop slant has endeared her to audiences around the country and beyond.  Whether sharing in a church service, concert, women’s event,  college chapel or outreach event, Mary’s message digs deep into the soul, tears down walls and points people to Jesus.  Her highly acclaimed songs are born out of the journey of her own pain and transformation.   While she is a consummate professional with an amazing talent and excellence in all she does, it is her personal story, humble heart and pointedly honest, yet appropriate transparency that captures her audiences and causes them to want to know this Jesus who saved her very life.

Mary is now called to sing and speak anywhere between 70-100 times per year for audiences of all ages.  She has been invited to lead worship or provide special music at events with  leading Bible teachers and  speakers such as Dr. David Jeremiah, Kay Arthur, Sheila Walsh, Bob Goff, Danna Demetre, Debbie Alsdorf, Kirk Cameron,  Nancy Stafford, Miles McPherson, Thelma Wells, Ken Davis, and many more.
